What started as outdoor skate meetups has grown into a thriving community where skating is used as a tool for self-expression, emotional wellness, and cultural connection. Whether you’re brand new to skating or have years of experience, you’ll find a space here to belong, move, and grow.

Our events — from open skates to sip & skates — are designed to create joy, build community, and reclaim spaces for roller culture to thrive. With over 10k followers and counting, Roll Club DE is rolling forward with a mission to expand locally, nationally, and even globally — creating unforgettable skate experiences and supporting skaters every step (or roll) of the way.

Our Origin Story:

Founder Bri Betz-White discovered the world of roller skating in late 2021, turning to it as a powerful outlet for healing during a time of deep personal grief. What began as a way to cope became a source of freedom, joy, and transformation — a safe haven on wheels. As Bri shared her skate journey online, local interest quickly grew. Skaters and curious newcomers from Wilmington began reaching out, looking for a space where they, too, could roll, connect, and heal. From there Bri, noticed a gap in Delaware skate Culture.

From humble outdoor meetups with a handful of Wilmington locals, Roll Club DE was born. What started as a grassroots gathering has evolved into a thriving movement. Today, we partner with local nonprofits to bring free and inclusive skate programming to the community — and we’re just getting started. With over 10,000 followers on Instagram and a rapidly growing presence, our mission is to fill the gap Delaware has long had for roller skating culture by offering community-driven events, open skates, lessons, and unforgettable moments of joy.
